Use more groups to ease permission management

Description

At the moment, there's no attempt to grant permissions on anything beyond a user-by-user basis. If autocreated users got added to some useful groups ("mit" and "autocreated" come to mind), it would be a little more possible to do this.

At this point useful groups are beginning to exist. Admins should assign permissions to those groups...
