It'd be nice if there was some sort of functionality to keep those discussions together. One option would be to directly build this into Remit; another would be to try to integrate with RT (say) to do the heavy lifting. That option would likely mean generating an RT ticket for each request and setting the appropriate headers on outgoing mail for the mail to be associated with the ticket.
